Back to El Dorado

WOW!
So yesterday we got CRAZY news!!
We got a text from our zone leaders that we had a special meeting at 7:45 sunday night. And we were like whaaat, cause it was in the middle of a stake christmas activity that we had going on. And then some of the sisters from a different zone texted us and said are you having a meeting with president tonight? And we were like ya! And then we were so excited cause we were thinking  IPADS!!!!
So anyways we get to the meeting, and it is a mission wide conference call haaha. And this is the news.
OUR MISSION IS GETTING SPLIT! :O
So they are taking Lodi (my birth place), Stockton, and Manteca zones, and taking 3 zones from the Fresno mission, and are creating the Modesto mission!
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY!
haha jk, not until July. So I will be home by then, but still weird!!!
So that is the biggest news.
In other news, We had our temple conference on tuesday. SO FUN!
Wednesday I got to go on exchanges back in EL DORADO!!!!!!!
Can you beleive that? Oh man it was soooo fun. It felt so good to be back there! We had a super productive day, and I actually got to see a lot of people that I have missed :). We went for lunch with the Jones' it was fun! And then just stopped by other people! But it was good.
Lol, there was some serious anticipation about a big storm that was coming, but it wasn't so bad. But we've been getting tons of rain! I think this is what winter is actually supposed to be like in California. WET. lol. But it is good, it is helping to make up for the drought.
Oh and throughout this week we have had FOUR phones because hahah we got new phones and new numbers so we have the old ones for a little bit longer. So having 4 phones is so crazy. lol.
Hahah friday we had dinner with this awesome couple. they are a part member family, and we hope the husband will join in soon haha!
Saturday we had BOTH ward christmas parties! It was soo fun! They both went really great!
WELL LIFE IS GOOD!
LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!
Oh ya hahahaha we had a funny visitor at church on sunday, I'll tell you about him on the phone ( :D ). His name is Hawk hahaha like the bird.
LOL.
WELL LOVE YOU SO MUCH,
Oh and i guess i won't talk to you till christmas, lol no pday until then! CRRRRAAAAAAAAZY STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sign Language is Cool!

HEY EVERYBODY!
Well this was a good week! It flew by!! And we've been soo busy!
Tuesday we had MLC, it was fun! We got new standards of excellence! I like them, it is helping the missionaries to become more rooted in Christ! It is cool! I think great things will start happening in the mission!  After MLC we had an appointment with Judi, and the most confusing thing happened. Judi said "you don't have to teach me a lesson every time you come over. I've been taught all of the lessons many times and I don't want you to waste your time"..... so we were like... Did Judi just drop us? We still had our lesson, but we don't really know what the deal is with Judi. Then we had a search and rescue that night.... the sisters before us thought they were so creative... basically all it is is ministering visits, but they thought it was all original. But it would have been cool if the ward council actually showed up..................... but they didn't lol. Just the RS presidency! They are great!!
Wednesday we had a meeting with the ZLs to plan zone training, and then had our BOM study with Laurel and then had lunch with Ashley Dean! Then we drove to Carmichael and did team ups with the ASL sisters! It was great to be in a city! I talked to people!  SO FUN! Also it was POURING RAIN! And we went tracting hahaha, also so fun! Also sign language is sooooooooo cool. I am learning how to say Hello my name is Sister Lacusta. Wish me luck! Then we almost died because there is so much rain and the streets were flooding. And we went to starbucks to get hot chocolate and I ordered a white hot chocolate with peppermint and the guy made me a white MOCHA. Luckily they said what it was and i was like noooo i need hot chocolate. We figured the starbucks guy was LOL'ing to himself because he just made the mormon missionary coffee hahahah. That was a close one. Then we had our Relief society parties. Yes both wards were on the same night at the exact same time. They were both really fun! If you're wondering how we went to both it is because we got a time turner just like Hermione has in Harry Potter. jk, we just went to the first 40minss of one and the last 40mins of the other. Then we drove to EL DORADO to go on exchanges!
Ya so thursday I was with Sister Miller in the greenvalley/bass lake area! It was fun! Then we ended a little early cause we had to meet with the ZL's again to finalize our plans for zone training.
Friday we had zone training! It went really great! We had a council setting, so it was more like a big discussion instead. Then we had to do weekly planninggggggg. And we saw some people. And  there was a tree lighting in downtown folsom we were going to check out but it was pouring rain again......... like the whole week it was like that. I mean it was great cause we need rain! But i feel sooo bad for the biking missionaries!
Then Saturday was good, we helped Judi put christmas lights up, and saw some other people and thats all i remember.
Sunday, two wards, went great, we ended up having to teach sunday school in 2nd ward and we taught elders quorum in the 4th ward! Then in the evening we watched the first presidency devotional! It was great!
Well I don't know who else has been handing out he is the gift cards, but mom i'm so proud of you :D
Great work!!!!!!!!
LOVE YOU ALL!!!
I get to go to the temple tomorrow! And then Wednesday I get to go back to El Dorado with Sister BOata!!!! its gunna be so fun!

He Is The Gift!

Long time no TALK! hahaah
So I don't have a lot to report on because it has only been a few days since we emailed last, but I wanted to tell you all about this super cool thing the church has going on! It is called
HE IS THE GIFT!
So I'm sure you've seen it already, but it is this great video that the church has produced. And it really helps us to remember the real reason of Christmas! We know that Christmas isn't about the presents, and the bows, or all of that stuff, it is about Christ! So this video is so sweet and short and really helps us remember the reason for the season.
SO you have to go check it out!
It is on
So go watch it!

Also, in your December issue of the ensign there are going to be 9 pass along cards. GIVE THEM AWAY! This is the easiest way to do missionary work! Just share with someone what Christmas is all about!
SO I"M GOING TO COMMIT YOU ALL RIGHT NOW:
WILL YOU COMMIT TO FINDING SOMEONE TO GIVE ALL 9 PASSALONG CARDS TO? AND WILL YOU SHARE THE VIDEO ONLINE? :)

Okay great :).

We have had fun with these cards, because we are supposed to give 10 out a day! So I've literally been passing them out the window when we pass people on the street!
And for a service project this week we got to go to the zoo and decorate a Christmas tree, and as part of it you could have an 8x11 picture saying who decorated it or whatever. So I had this great idea that we should make a giant He is the Gift card and put it on our tree. So we  decorated this beautiful tree, right by the bobcats, and then put the picture of Mary holding baby Jesus. and we hope everyone will remember what Christmas is all about! :)

In other news, I get to go to MLC tomorrow (we get costa vida for lunch after <3). And I get to do my first exchange this week. Should be fun!
And Kyla decided to move her baptismal date to December 27! woohoo!
But ya, thats about it! Things are GOOD!!!!!!!!!

LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!!!!

LOVE SISTER LACUSTA

Good Bye to Sister William

HELLOOOOO! (picture me saying that like Mrs Doubtfire)

WOW! It sure seems like a lot has happen since I last emailed, but it has been good.
So! We got our transfer calls and you know about all of that, so we got put in a trio with Sister William, Sister Cleverly and I (but I already knew it was just going to be temporary). So we had to pack everything up and move out of Tom and Judi's to go to the house that they had been living in in the Folsom 4th ward. So we did that, and we had to set up a bunk bed and move all this stuff around and haha it was all good. So wednesday was mostly just full of moving stuff around and we had a couple appointments to go to.
Thursday, yikes, this was the day that we knew president was going to tell Sister William she was going home. So we have district meeting at 12, so president and sister jardine came to the church before our district meeting to tell her. So we all went into a classroom and he told her, and it was so sad, Sister William started crying, but she said that she kind of knew it would be coming. She said that she had a dream where she was at home, and she felt like that was what was going to happen. So I was crying too, and we were all talking, but, President has made so many phone calls and was talking to the mission president in Guam and arranged it so she could be a missionary in Micronesia. So Sister William got to call her parents on the phone, and President was kind of ticked, cause her family was already supposed to know that she was coming home, but I guess they had no idea. So whoever was supposed to relay the information did not. But its okay. Then in this zone the districts meet in the same building and just had district meeting right after each other, so the whole zone was there and we were crying, and then they are just like what is going on? And then we didn't stay for district meeting, so we just went home and started packing and stuff, and it was sad. Sister William did great though. It was neat to see how the spirit has helped to prepare her. So she was ready, but it doesn't make it any easier
So friday sister Cleverly and I had a leadership meeting we needed to go to in Sacramento, so we drove there, and on thursday when sister William was talking to her mom on the phone I asked President if Sister William could go to the temple one last time before she left because she loves it and there isn't one near her. So we went to the temple after our meeting. It was so nice to go back so soon! After the temple we went and said goodbye to  some people, had dinner with the Hunts, and then packed some more. We had a great time her last night, we were just all having fun.
So then saturday morning at 6:45 President and Sister Jardine came and picked Sister William up. It was so sad to see her go, but I know that is what was supposed to happen. Its pretty cool that through everything she was able to come here to Sacramento on her mission, they have the special Society for the Blind where she was able to get her glasses and sunglasses. So it is no accident that she made it here. But it was still sad to see her go. The rest of the day sister Cleverly and I were just unpacking and cleaning up and getting organized and planning. President called us later that day to let us know how things went with dropping off sister William. He said he was feeling pretty bad about her having to go home, but as they watched her get on the escalator, she tripped getting on it, and he said that confirmed that the decision was right.
Sunday was good. We had TWO wards to go to now! So 2nd ward starts at 9 and 4th starts at 11:30.... but in different buildings. So we only stayed for the first 2 hours of 2nd ward and then left for 4th ward. They are definitely different types of people in the wards.... we will see how it goes. It has also been a little difficult combining because right now it is kind of a "yours and mine" situation. Like 2nd ward is mine and 4th ward is hers. We need to combine so that they are both OURS. Its funny cause investigator-wise we have a lot going on in the 2nd ward, but I don't know the members that well, so  I feel like the members of 2nd ward are being shafted. But 4th ward there isn't many investigators, but sister cleverly has been there for 6 months so she knows the members really well. So we seriously need to get a balance going on.....
Monday was not pday................... hahah jk it was fine! We were so excited to get working because both of us just want to work hard! It is great! We had a bunch of phone calls and stuff to make because we are both STLs so we have to go on exchanges, so we have to call the sisters and their district leaders and just figure out all this stuff. But it is going to be good! In the evening we saw Tom and Judi, and we saw Kyla who is this AWESOME investigator in the 4th ward. And we had a meeting with the Zone leaders and district leaders!
Tuesday was great. We had some service at the thrift store, we were just organizing books! Hahha it was fun! We are the only sisters in the zone now! We were supposed to have an appointment with Francis, but  he wasn't there, but his neighbour is this LA lady named Linda, so she saw us and really wanted to talk to us (which usually isn't the case) and so she just broke down and was crying and stuff and we were able to talk to her. We went to go meet some potentials in 2nd ward and we ended up talking to the is hilariously weird LA lady hahahahahaaha. We had dinner with the bishop of 4th ward, they seem like a great family. And then we had an awesome lesson with Judi and a great lesson with Kyla!
Wednesday: we had a book of mormon study with Laurel, which was great, and we had district meeting, also great! Elder Hale who i've served with before is our district leader! THen we had to go home and pack up our stuff cause we are temporarily living at a different house while the member we live withs family is in town. Then we had a lesson with Kyla, had dinner, did some service, then saw Mike and Christy. AND NOW IT IS PDAY!
But its been great! I really love Sister Cleverly. It is definitely going to take some adjusting to me not being the only one talking. In fact, she is used to taking the lead too, and so she is kind of steamrolling over me sometimes.... but we will figure it out. She is an awesome teacher, and I think great things are going to happen this transfer!
And oh ya President sent us this text, it is an email he received from the Guam Mission President:

President Jardine,
You will be happy to know that Sister William has accepted a "temporary" assignment to serve in the Sapwalap area of Pohnpei for approximately 15 months, with her stake presidents blessing. Thank you for training her well. Please convey our heartfelt appreciation to her companion for being the loving trainer/companion to Sister William. We will keep you posted as events in her life and missionary efforts continue to progress.
Yours in Faith,
President John S. Zarbock

So Sister William will be serving "temporarily" for 15 months. hahaha  I thought that was funny. She will be missed, but it was also cool because did I tell you how this non member lady gave her a ukulele? Well this lady is the mom of a member, and the member said that Sister William really changed his moms view of mormons. So she was able to influence someone :).

Well its been an adventure! Things might be a little more normal..... but I doubt it ;).
LOVE YOU ALL AND MISS YOU!!!!!!!!!!

New Assignment - Sister Training Leader

HELLO familia!
So, this was a good week, nothing super exciting to report on except for transfers!
So transfers, for the meantime we are going to be in a trio with Sister Cleverly, and we are going to be covering Folsom 2nd and 4th and I am now a Sister Training leader. hahahaa. So that means I get to go on exchanges and stuff with people. So that will be an adventure.
But ya, the week
so Tuesday AFTER pday we finally saw MIKE AND CHRISTY! I couldn't even believe it! They opened the door, and they told us that they had been ignoring us....! So at least the finally let us know. I guess they felt kind of sad during our last lesson because we told them they couldn't be baptized unless they got married, or moved out right? So they thought they would be rejects at church. So we cleared that up, and we set up to go do service over at their house! So we were super excited.
Wednesday we had our little Book of Mormon study class with Laurel and Sister Stutz. It was good. Laurel was super stressed so we just talked and then we talked about the Book of Mormon.  It was also new news to her that Jesus Christ is coming to the earth again.... so we cleared that one up. Glad we found that out. After that we had lunch with the Sisters which was fun, they are both soooooo funny! Then we went to see Francis, he is still sad so we were just helping to cheer him up.  That night we had dinner with Sister Roberts. Haha pizza again. ( Sister William tells everyone she wants pizza so I think we had pizza almost every night this week hahaha). In the night we tried a whole bunch of people, but no one was home or available............
Thursday was great. We had district meeting, I don't remember what it was on... but I know it was good haha. We had our lesson with Beth, she is so sweet. Her mom, who isn't a member, sat in with us. It was good.  That night we had dinner with the Storers, she is the RS president, and they are awesome! Haha brother Storer is super funny. When the Sacramento temple was being built he took pictures of it every single week, so he made a slideshow and showed it to us, it was pretty cool! Then that night, we went and had fhe with Laurel and Billy and the kids. We had a lesson on the importance of family and then we played Taboo. Hahahaha, not a good game with someone who doesn't have english as their first language, and with babies. Hahah all the kids were just grabbing the taboo buzzer and going crazy hahaha. It was hilarious.
Friday: Sister William got her glasses and her sunglasses! woohoo, she is a happy girl now! She can see so much better, still no where near perfect sight, but for her it is much better. So she is excited. This day was weekly planning, so we did that, and then in the night we had dinner with Tom and Judi! It was fun! haha love them.
Saturday: we got to do a just serve project at the ZOO! haha we hung up christmas lights. It was fun! and then they let us walk around and look at all the animals hahaha. But then we were bummed cause, we were supposed to do service at Mike and Christys but then they cancelled :( so that was kind of a bummer. Then we saw some people and had dinner at the Jensens! Haha it was a fun dinner.
Sunday: chuuuurch! yay! hahah it was good. Ashley Dean came!!! It was soooo good to see her! We passed the dinner calendar around is RS and YW and literally no one signed up.......................hahahahahah. wowza. Good thing we are so loved. But i guess it works out because now we have the other ward. So hopefully people signed up on theirs. Haha between the 2 wards hopefully someone will want to feed us.
Monday: so oh ya, i've been sick this whole week, and it wasn't getting better at all, so basically monday i just stayed in. So hopefully I will get better soon. But ya then the big transfer call. So it will be a lot of fun! Sister Cleverly is awesome, and haha I get to go back to El Dorado for exchanges! And so the deal with Sister William is, she still doesn't know, but she is going to be leaving saturday :(. President had so many calls and stuff to contact people in Pohnpei, but like no one spoke english and all this stuff, so he's been trying to figure out if she can be a missionary down there. So it sounds like she won't be a fulltime missionary, but she will still be serving. So it will be a sad week. I will be sad to see her leave. I've been thinking about it a lot, obviously, and it is so sad. It just seems so unfair that someone would have to get sent home just cause of how they were born. But we know that no matter what, everything that is unfair will be made right because of Jesus Christ. So I'm sure she will be fine. Hopefully the spirit will help her know that this is what is supposed to happen. It is still sad, but I know that Heavenly Father has a plan for her. So i better start saving my money so I can go to the South Pacific and visit her and Sister Boata!
Well just so you know, Pday won't be till THURSDAY :'( :'(
So talk to you in a whiiiiiiile.
Mom and dad thanks for the birthday packages! You da best!!! :)
Hope you are all doing great!!!!!!

Love Doing Service!

HELLO FAMILY!
Thanks for all of the birthday wishes! :) It was a great day! 22 hahaha i'm old now. Oh well!
So this last week was good! We got to go to Sister Williams new missionary meeting, haha those are always fun! We get together with all of the new missionaries and their trainers. Haha and we split up into trainers and trainees. and haha the trainer meeting was funny cause there were these 2 sisters who just finished being trained and are now training and they had soo many questions hahahah. hilar. Also there is a trio of spanish sisters, and i guess when they are role playing they make one of them do wall sits, and then they have to do it short and powerful so their other companion isn't in a bunch of pain hahaha. so funny. The new missionaries also get the opportunity to bear their testimonies.... Sister William didn't bear hers..... sad :/.....We saw Francis after our meeting and he just had a really good friend die, so he was sad, and so we kind of talked about the Plan of Salvation.
Wednesday I got to go on exchanges with Sister Parkinson, aww I love her! She is great! This will be our last exchange because she goes home this transfer! So sad! We had a good day, haha a very multicultural day. We went to meet this lady in our ward who is Filipino and she made us Filipino food spontaneously. We also met a lady from Tanzania! she was sooo cool! The rest of the day was just meeting lots of people, and haha we went to Chick Fil A for dinner and someone bought our dinner for us! SO NICE! And then in the evening we went to a RS activity and made the cuuutest crafts! It was a blast!
Thursday was good, we had district meeting and this one was on following the spirit, and how important the spirit is in missionary work. It was a good one. We had our lesson with Beth, she is soooo nice. We had a good rest of the day, then in the evening we had dinner at the Stutz's I looooove them, and then we were supposed to have fhe with Laurel and the family, but it was just us and Laurel, it was good though.
Friday was a mehhhhh day, weekly planning is always kind of whatever! But we had lunch with the Sisters and that was fun!
Saturday: we got to do a service project for 5 hours. Haha we volunteered at a thrift store doing all of the Christmas stuff! Ha WOW you don't need to ever buy anything new! You can get anything at a thrift store! Even christmas stuff! But it was pretty fun, then we tried a bunch of people, and wehad dinner at the Gleasons! Also soo fun, great family!
Sunday was my burfday :)). It was nice, President and Sister Jardine both came to church, its nice to see them! It was the primary presentation! ahhhhh so cute! Okay, mom and dad when we come back you have to come to this ward one time, cause honestly it is such a funny ward! So then we went home for studies, had dinner at the Graysons, they are so nice. Then saw some people, and then we went home and had cake and icecream with Tom and Judi and the sisters came over! hahaha it was fun!
Monday (yesterday): we had interviews with Pres that is why pday got switched, it was good! and then the rest of the day, just trying to meet lots of people and all that good missionary stuff!
So ya! Hope you are all doing great!
Ha mom and dad hope you are enjoying CALIFORNIA!
LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!

Sisters teaching Elders Quorum!?

Well I seriously can't really remember what happened this week hahaha
What is up with that? Mission brain.
Monday we carved pumpkins for fhe with Tom and Judi! And hahahah they got moldy before halloween was even here.. sad! But they were cute while they lasted. We also had a small little lesson on Faith! it was good.
Tuesday: This nice non member lady gave Sister William a ukulele so she was pretty excited about that!  Francis wasn't there for his appointment..... :/. We met some of the new couples that moved into the ward. They are all young couples. One was really nice, the other was super awkward hahahah.... so weird. In the evening we went to this relief society activity, and then we went home for exchanges.
Wed: Lol i was with the sister named sister M and she is probably the most annoying/weird person i've ever met. I've had some interesting companions, but nothing like her. hhahahaah. She killed off a sister I came out with. Like I think she made her go crazy cause she is so WEIRD. She was like trying to run my area, and she's only been out for FOUR MONTHS. Ughhh so weird. But we survived the day. We met some nice people, and we had dinner at Sister Reese's. I LOVE Sister Reese. She used to house the missionaries and she served a mission too! She served in Salt Lake working on the Joseph Smith papers! It was kind of cool!
Thursday was a good day, Sister William had a doctors appointment to go to she got  the A okay on her stomach. We had fhe with Billy and Laurel! It was great! Sister William actually talked!! woohoo! And then we played Sorry. hahahaha it got pretty cut throat. haha jk. It was fun though. I lost :(.
Friday was Halloween. We weekly planned,  then did service, had a lesson with Beth, and then had an early dinner, and then at 5 we had zone training and zone activity. So the zone training was really good! It was about how we can be better people. A large focus on being humble. I liked it! Then we played ZOMBIES! hahaha i love that game!! So fun!
Saturday: In the morning we went to an 8 year old baptism, and we did a Q&A while she was changing. It was good. Then we just saw more people and in the night we had our coordination with Brother Gleason, he is our wml. I don't think i've even talked about him yet, but he is SO great! I think his family is the only family that likes us in the ward hahahahaha.
Sunday was good! An extra hour of sleep!! woohooo! And we taught elders quorum.... lol. So weird. But the EQpres asked us too so we did! We taught about how important it is to do personal study, and then related that to personal study in missionary work, and how they can do missionary work by doing more than just being a good example. Then in the night we just saw some more people!
So it was a good week! Nothing too exciting! I think Halloween was the highlight!
MOM I hope you had a GREAT BIRTHDAY!!!! :)
LOVE YOU

Love Everyone!

Okay, but seriously,
So ya,
Monday night we got home from our pday festivities, and Sister William was not feeling good at all. So she laid down and slept all until the morning, and she woke up and still wasn't feeling well, so we spent all day inside, in the afternoon the other sisters came and did splits with us so we could go to our appointment with Francis. So we went over with brother Christensen and brother Christensen gave him a blessing! It was a really good experience! I think Francis was really feeling the spirit! It was great.
So then that night Sister William still wasn't feeling good, and it was starting to go just to her right side. So we were like uh oh, appendix? So we called the nurse and she said to go to the ER.
So we went there, and bla bla bla a lot of waiting and stuff. She got a couple ultra sounds, and a cat scan, and she got her blood taken. They found out she had a UTI, and they gave her some morphine, and then got her some antibiotics. But the blood tests didn't show that anything was for sure wrong with her appendix, it could have been or could have not been. So ya, eventually the decided to admit her into the hospital, and this was at like 2am. So then sister Jardine came and picked me up, and I got to stay the night at the mission home! hahah can you believe that? Our mission home is not even in our mission, so I left the mission haha. But ya, the bed was RIDICULOUSLY comfortable, and the sheets were SO soft! And hahaha in the morning Sister Jardine told me Elder Holland had slept in that same bed! hahaha. Hilar. So ya, I got to sleep in till 8:30 (score!) and then I went and spent the day with the other sisters. And they were on exchanges, so I got t see Sister Hickman, it was fun! Then ya, the whole day was just kind of crazy, and then in the night, they decided not to do surgery on Sister William and she came home.. and she was feeling totally fine! haha she faield to mention that she had a UTI in the past and it caused her the pain before. So that is probably what it was all along. During our dinner, Sister Hickman had this awesome thought that she shared at dinner. It was from Ether 6, you know when the Jaredites are in the barges. Well it talks about a furious wind that carries them to the promised land. And so she related the wind to trials in life, and we need the wind (our trials) to help us get to the promised land. Our trials help us to become who the Lord wants us to be. Even though sometimes they suck (haha) the Lord always has a plan and has something for us to learn! It was awesome, and perfect for me. Cause I was kind of feeling oh woe is me, the first area I come to that actually has investigators, and we can't even work. hahaha but its all good. My trials are TINY. BARELY EVEN THERE ACTUALLY.
Thursday we had district meeting, it was all about being bold, which I don't usually have a problem with, but they reminded us to do it wth love. And I feel like it was good for me, to be reminded to treat everyone with love. So LOVE EVERYONE. moral of the story.
The rest of the week was just whatever! we had a couple days where no one answered the door the whole day ( normal) and then  some days where everyone answered!
On saturday we got to do the Folsom community day of Service, so we showed up to help and there were so many volunteers, that there was nothing for us to do! hahaha so a member of a different ward said, I hope you know you still get all the blessings for showing up even though you couldn't serve. hahaha. and then we all went to mcdonalds for breakfast hahahahaha. And we almost won BIG on monopoly.
Sunday they actually introduced us in church, so that made us feel a little more welcome! hahah and it was good!
So thats about here in the mission field!
Hope you are all doing great!
LOVE YOUUU

Life in Folsom!

HELLO FAMILY!
Well another day here in Folsom. It is different. I miss El Dorado a lot! Hahah who would have thought I would miss the 30 minute drives everywhere. I miss all of my ward and the people I knew! and it was just so beautiful! But don't get me wrong, it hasn't been bad here in Folsom, its just a lot different. It has a very similar feel to Calgary. Like where we live. Just very suburby feel you know? But all the people are pretty nice and stuff.
It was a good week. Nothing too exciting to report on. Tuesday we had a great lesson with Mike and Christy. They are AWESOME! I really like them! They love the church and excited about learning more, but feel like it is too soon to be baptized... which is too bad. No one will ever know everything, we just keep learning day by day (line by line, precept by precept ;) ). So hopefully they will realize that :). We also met the primary president, she is Sister Harrison. I love her!! She is awesome! We had a lesson with Laurel too, all about family history and the importance of temples. It went well. Laurel is soooooo awesome too! She is also in love with the church, but she can't be baptized right now just cause of a divorce that isn't final. But she is just so excited about everything! Love her and her family!
Basically we've just been meeting a lot of people. And hahah people actually work. So people aren't home in the day... so there have been some days where literally no one answers.
On Thursday we had district meeting. Our district seems fun! After district meeting Sister Jardine called me and she was asking me how my companion is doing and stuff. And I guess they are trying to assess whether or not she will be able to stay on her mission. Cause on her mission papers, it said that her eyes were totally fine. So they didn't know. And they don't know if she will be able to stay on her mission, or at least in this mission. So they are kind of working with me and trying to figure it out. We actually have an appointment today to figure out if they can do anything to help her eyes out!
On October 25 we are having a Community Day of Service for the whole city of Folsom. So the thing we are helping out with is doing a food drive! Sounds familiar? hahaha. Its funny cause in Calgary we have it mastered and everyone knows what they are doing. Hahah folsom is such a small place and everyone is stressing out. But we can manage to do the whole city of Calgary :). Woohoo! But ya, it was fun.
aghhhh it was so stressful delivering the bags with my companion. I was saying a constant prayer the whole time that she wouldn't disappear or get run over or something. Haha thankfully she didnt!
Friday one of the other sisters had a doctors appointment, so Sister Cleverly came with us! She is soooooo fun! I love her!
Saturday we had dinner with the Kimbrell family, and they are friends with the Kroffs from my old area, and so the Kroffs came to dinner too! It was sooo good to see them!
And Sunday we finally got to meet our ward. I would say we got a lukewarm welcome.... hahaha great.  They didn't even announce that there were 2 new missionaries.  And the family we had dinner with said "WOW 2 new sisters? Why would they do that to us?" i was like "WE'RE NOT THAT BAD!" hahahaah
ya. So its going to be an adjustment.
Well That  was my week. Just keep on trucking on......

There Has Been A Change of Plans!

HELLO FAMILY!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will probably be making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for dinner tonight! hahahah so hope you enjoy your turkey buns! My stomach is grumbling just thinking about that hahahaha
Well you are probably wondering what my subject line means, hahaha so let me tell you!
So Tuesday after emailing was a day full of goodbyes and tears. Very sad! But I knew it was coming! I said goodbye to as many people as I could, but there is not a lot of time, so I just did what we could!
So then Wednesday, we woke up nice and early, finished packing and cleaning, and then the Seymours came and picked me up so they could drop me off at the mission office. Well you know me haha I have a lot of stuff, so there car was pretty full. And so Folsom is on the way to the mission office, so I was like, we should just drop my stuff of at the house I'm going to be living at! So we did that to make our lives easier, but we were late cause of that haha ( I wasn't too concerned, I''ve already trained so it was just going to be the same thing over again) So we get there and we're like half an hour late hahah (oops). But I sit down, and I get all situated, and I'm over tired and sad about leaving El Dorado right? So I'm listening, and then Sister Jardine like motions for me to come to her, so I'm like me? Okay! So I go talk to her and she says "President would like to talk to you"
hahahahaha my first thought is, oh crap! What did I do? And i'm like racking my brain, I've been obedient, nice, I work hard, I couldn't think of anything he would want to talk to me about. So anyways I go and talk to President and he is asking me how I'm doing and stuff, and then he says "I have a special assignment for you"
Now I'm thinking oh great! What language area are they going to put me in? I'm thinking what could this be? So then he tells me that I am going to be the only trainer who knows who my companion is. So he goes on to tell me, that my companion is from Micronesia, her name is Sister William, and basically she is partially blind. She can't really be in the sun, she has to read books an inch away from her eyes, and she just can't really see anything. So he tells me more about the process of picking trainers and trainees, and he knew that I was suppsoed to train, but this is before he even met Sister William, so then after he had met the new missionaries, that is when he prays about who should be their trainer, and he said he prayed about it all night long, and he knew that I was supposed to be her trainer. He even woke up in the night getting that confirmation. So he tells me more and then he gave me a priesthood blessing and ya. So it was a nice little meeting with President Jardine. He said that he knows that I will be able to bless the life of my companion and that he knows that the Lord wants us to be companions. soooo ya! So we talked probably for a good 15-20 minutes, and then we went back with the other missionaries and got our companions.
So sister William hahaha she is about my height and is so cute. So ya, since her problem with her eyes, we are not on bikes..... looks like I will probably be in car my whole mission...... So then we had to go to an eye appointment for her, and
Soooooo thats my life!

Hahah shotgunning is a joke. I don't know where anything is or who anyone is hahahahaha. The Sisters before us left us with things to do, they were actually teaching quite a few people, so that is a nice change. But they left the area book with hardly any info.... so we're working with that! But it is just totally an adventure.
The ward LOVED the sisters before us... so I think they might have a hard time adjusting to us. Plus this sunday was stake conference, so we didn't even get to meet our ward! hhaahahahah But we did meet our wml, bishop, eq pres and rs pres and they all seem really great! So we will see.
On Saturday we had ZONE CONFERENCE, but only sort of!  Elder Daniel L Johnson of the Seventy came and talked to us! ( I thought we were going to get ipads  but we didn't) It was just a really great meeting about how members and missionaries are supposed to work together! He is funny! You know, most of the general authorities are pretty funny! So I think that means that Heavenly Father will be pretty funny too, don't you think? hahaha who knows! But it was a great meeting.
Saturday night I got to go back to El Dorado for MIMIS BAPTISM!!!! WOOHOO! It was so great! So exciting to see Mimi get baptized. And most of Dans nm family came! So that was really great! The Activity Day girls sang, which was sooo cute. And wow, i know it had only been a few days since I left, but it was SO GOOD TO BE BACK! Before the baptism I went for dinner with the Seymours and I just absolutely love them! Hahaha as I was saying goodbye to go back to Folsom, Dan gave me a hug! hahahaha I was cracking up. And I got a picture with the whole Milton family, so you'll be able to see who I've been talking about now! They are honestly just the greatest family! I love them!
Then I went back and caught the last part of the adult session of stake conference.
So then Sunday, ohhhhh I forgot to tell you! The people that we live with in Folsom are name Tom and Judi (they are awesome!) Tom is a member, and just recently started returning to the church, and Judi is not a member. But before Stake conference, they have a special meeting before for investigators and recent converts. And so Judi and Tom came! and Judi was crying through the whole thing. It was a REALLY good meeting! The spirit was so strong, and it was all of these rc telling their conversion stories. It was SO COOL. AND it was SO AWESOME to see all of these recent converts!!!! And get this, they are all NORMAL!!!! Can you believe that? hahahahahah.
But ya Stake conference was seriously so good! Elder Johnson is awesome! Such a spiritual and funny guy!  The rest of the day was good too!
So ya, Folsom is going to be an ADVENTURE! This week we have a few appointments and are going to focus on meeting the members and getting referrals!!!!! Hope it goes well! and I really hope I can get to know this area, cause really we only have one set of eyes hahahaha.
Before shotgunning I said we are going in totally blind, not knowing anyone or where anything is, and now I know how true it is that we are going in blind,,,,,, literally.
hahahahahahahahaa
Well life is good!
HOPE YOU ARE ALL DOING GREAT!
LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!

AND we are on bike. And apparently the area is all hills. hahaahahahaaha. So i'm just cracking up, cause it is going to be so ridiculously crazy.
On the bright side, the temple is in my area, I think I attend the church building right beside it (maybe) and there is lots of great shopping! hahaahha. Sooooo ya. Its gunna be fun! bahahaha

We had a good week! It went by ridiculously fast!
I'll just give the highlights, cause everything will be different next week.
So we had a nice big service project with habitat for hummanity again, it was good! We just painted some more. We had a couple good lessons with Mimi, we actually even went to Activity Days and taught all the girls a lesson on baptism, and we had a fun RS activity that night

But ya, it was a good time!
Then yesterday was man up monday and we did service and then got served a 5 course steak dinner.  Then we saw some more people, had a lesson with Mimi and got our transfer calls! I was really hoping I would stay, but I guess I will start this new adventure! ahahahah

How Could Anyone Doubt We Believe in Christ!

Hello Family,
WOW! Where has September gone?? it's OVER! (its basically NOVEMBER ALREADY hahahaha that's for you Sister Kim) But seriously, time is flying so fast. This is week 6 of this transfer. So next week pday will be on Tuesday I'm pretty sure.... they didn't know for sure, but that is what it should be. And then we'll find out if I go or stay or WHAT!
So ya
Anyways,
So remember how last week I told you about this awesome referral we had gotten? Well the guy who gave us the referral said that his friend called him and said not to be offended but he didn't want to meet with us :'(. So sad. But oh well, we will roll up our sleeves and move on!
Tuesday: This was just kind of a whatever day we just saw a lot of people and followed up on how peoples friends liked the Luau and stuff
Wednesday: This day was great! We saw a lot of people and they actually let us come in and stuff! woohoo! Hahah one lady was so ridiculous, she opens her door holding a cigarette and like smoke comes out the door and then she sees us and says "Oh i'm sorry I don't feel very well cause of all of the smoke from the fire." haahahah i was like .....wait what? Hahah what a lame excuse. But ya, we also had dinner with  the Babbitts at Sizzler hahahaha  and it was sooo funny. People are so funny! Hahahah he saw this lady who was kind of really large, and when she sat down her butt went over the edge, and he said " :O look at that! What is wrong with that lady?" hahahaha and then we had to tell him to be nice. Also they just  did the endless salad bar and Sister Boata and I just ordered from the menu, and so we ate fast cause we were hungry, and they eat slow cause they are older, but then we were done and C was convinced that we didn't eat enough, hahahaha so he was getting up and filling up plates of food for us to eat hahahaha it was so funny. We were so stuffed from our meals too that we were like stop it!!! hahah but ya it was just hilarious.  We had a lesson with Mimi, haha they forgot about our appointment, but we still had the lesson anyways, Mimi is still ready and excited for her baptism! woohoo! Then we went and saw T and F! And T actually hung around and participated :) yay!!!
Thursday: You're never gunna believe this, but a total miracle happened. We woke up and IT WAS POURING RAIN!!!!! WHOOOOAAAAA!!!! IT was amazing!!!!!!  Wooohoooo! We went early to district meeting cause we wanted to set our zone vision. Hahaha basically it was Elder Boddie setting our zone vision. He had all the ideas and was doing  all the talking, and its kind of funny cause he goes home in a week. Hahah but it should be good! THen we had district meeting, it was good! THen we grabbed lunch and went and saw some people. Okay so there is this one house in our area that HAS A CANADA FLAG and everytime I drive by I want to meet them, but this is the problem, like 75% of the houses in our area this house has a gate :( not just one you can swing open (lol I go ahead and open those) but this is one where you need the code or an opener for it). So we were just about to leave from that little area, but then i remembered that house and said LETS TRY THE CANADA FLAG HOUSE! So we went, annnd THE GATE WAS OPEN!!!! So we walked up the driveway annnnnnnD! no one answered the door. hahahahha sorry for all the hype. But i was so excited that the gate was open, but so bummed no one answered. Hopefully I will be able to meet them sometime :). So then we went to see the J Seymours to check up on their missionary work, they are an awesome member missionary family, more than once at church they have asked me if they could have a Book of Mormon cause they had someone they wanted to give it to. Then we had dinner at the Justin Seymours, and as usual it was so fun!
Friday: This was a good day, just had weekly planning, and then we went to another service project. More painting, hahahah poor Sister Boata, painting is not her strong suit. We had to go scrape like everything she painted off. Hahha but it is all good.  Then we had dinner with someone and went and saw more people
Saturday:Ohhhh hahahah so in the mornings we have been waking up early to go work out at the Hulberts, they have like a mini gym and stuff. And so we wake up at 5:30 and arre on the road at about 5:40, so we are driving, and its dark out, and not too many other cars on the road. and the Hulberts live in a gated community, so I pull up to put the code in and there is a car right behind me.... not too weird, but a little weird for so early in the morning, and then we start driving to their house, and remember where I am everything is spread out and no one lives close to anyone else, so hahah this car is still behind us during our drive, and its like a couple mile drive from where we put the code in, so i'm thinking this is weird, who is behind us, then I turn into the Hulberts drive way AND THE CAR KEEPS FOLLOWING US IN! So i'm driving up their driveway and its still behind us! Then we park and they park! And its pitch black outside and we're like WHO IS BEHIND US! So we get out and go start excercising, and I was on the treadmill and couldn't see out the door, and then Sister Boata was like THEY ARE WALKING AROUND! And we'r elike OH MY GOSH! So we text bro Hulbert saying somebody came in behind us, and we asked them if they were expecting any visitors, and then no answer. so we keep exercising, but then we decide to go outside to play pickleball and we see the people and then, hahaha we realized it was just the SEYMOURS! hahahaahah. So it was the opening day of deer hunting season, so they were just scoping out the property to see if there were any deer. hahahahaah wow. bro hulbert later texted back and said "its the seymours coming to hunt, but thanks for looking out for us" hahahaha good times. but the rest of the day, this was one of those days where we tried every single name in our plans! THat doesn't happen very often in this area, cause usually people let us in! Hhaha but no one was home, or they said it was a bad time or something. But we did see the Masseys and hahaha it was so funny, Brother Massey said, "whats it like having a companion who actually talks?" bahahahaha. I said its SO GOOD!  We tried a lot of other people and then we had dinner with Donna and then it was the womens conference!!!!!!!! Okay so first hahah I don't know what you did back home, but they had us meet early and then there was an instant choir, where they literally met up an hour before and learned the songs then performed. and it was good! There was a combo of RS and YW. But then the YW sang come unto Christ and THE BROADCAST WAS SOOOOO GOOOD! All of the talks were AWESOME! And okay, if this meeting was this good I think conference is going to be AMAZING!!!!!!!! so ya!!!!!! I loved all of the talks! Sister Goff told us later that when Jean A Stevens, was telling the story about her parents, that her parents were PRESIDENT AND SISTER HINCKLEY! I did not put those pieces together!!!!! WOW! So good! And I loved Sister Mariott, awww so good. And the little videos! So good! I LOVE THE TEMPLE! AND UCHTDORFS! Listening to him speak HOW COULD ANYONE DOUBT THAT WE BELIEVE IN CHRIST! WE KNOW HE LIVES WE KNOW HE LOVES US! WE KNOW HE IS OUR SAVIOUR! BUT OTHER PEOPLE JUST DONT GET THAT. People just need to give us a chance to let them know!!!!! It is all true!!!!!!!!!   But ya, sooooo many good messages and just so inspiring!!!!!!!!!!! After the broadcast we had little refreshments, and every ward in our stake made a "tapestry" to represent the ward! Ours was so cute, and we all signed our names, so my ward is forever in the El Dorado ward :D HOORAY! and when we walked out. MORE RAIN!
Sunday: This was a good fast sunday! ABE came to church! and he loved it! So then after church we went to the blodgetts and had a lesson with him, and he was like crying and loving it and HE brought up baptism before we could even get to it. So we invited him to be baptized on October 25 and he said yes! After I said Joseph Smiths vision he was like "whoa, that gave me chills" then we asked what he thought it meant, and he said he didn't even know, but he just felt good and knew it was a good thing. THE CHURCH IS SOOOOO TRUE AND THE SPIRIT IS SOOO REAL!!!!! So ya, abe is excited to be baptized!!! WOOHOOO! Then we had dinner with the V's, hilarious young couple! We went back home and taught the Goff grandkids a little lesson about prophets and about general conference, then we saw Kat. And okay you are going to laugh at me, and I am seriously concerned for when I come back to the Motherland, but it was 60 degrees outside and IT WAS COLD! I'M GOING TO DIIIIIIIE WHEN I COME HOME! hahahahah i said to Sister Boata, imagine it LITERALLY 100 degrees colder! hahaahahhahaha that is what it is like in the winter. Wow. Hopefully we have a mild winter back home hahahahha.
But anyways it was a good week!
And I have a challenge for you all!
So hahahah apparently at the beginning of my mission President and Sister Lewis gave us a Book of Mormon and we were supposed to read it within the first 6  months of our mission. Well somehow I didn't know that, I have the Book of Mormon, but I didn't do the challenge, SO i decided to do it the last 6 months of my mission! But the challenge is to read the book of mormon within these 6 months and in RED highlight every reference to Christ including his words and attributes, and in BLUE highlight any gospel doctrine or principle found in the Book of Mormon.
SOOOO you should do it too! Just get a blue copy of the Book of Mormon and begin :) It will be amazing!
That is my challenge to you!
WELL THIS NEXT WEEK IS GOING TO BE AMAZING!
We have some lessons planned, zone training, we get to watch meet the mormons AND GENERAL CONFERENCE!!!!!! WOOHOO!
So I hope you all enjoy conference I'm sure it is going to be amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love you all SO MUCH!

HELLOOOOO FAMILY!
Well this was an AWESOME WEEK!
Seriously, so many  great things happening!!!! :D
Soooooo Tuesday: This was a good day, we had a lunch appointment instead of dinner, and it was at the H's, hahaha Brother H is really hard to  understand like he just mumbles and I don't know what he is saying 90% of the time, but a miracle has happened. I think since being companions with Sister Boata I HAVE THE GIFT OF TONGUES!  I could understand everything he said clearly!! hahaha so thats a miracle to be reported.  We saw some other people, helped someone clean their house, hahah she actually left to do other errands and we cleaned. Don't know when the last time she ever swept or vacuumed was lol. We also saw this old LA lady in our ward, and hahah she is kind of blind and hard of hearing, so she can't tell who we are, and then we told her our names and she said "Sister Lakreesha and Sybil Loabwa?" hahaha we were like... yes, close enough lol. So then after seeing other people we went home to have dinner and so then I was just kind of relaxing on my bed after we quickly ate and we got this phone call from a random number. So it is from this guy named Mike from San Diego, and long story short, he had been prompted to ask his work assosciate to meet with the missionaries, so he finally did and the guy said YES! So he gave us his number and address and stuff and we were SO EXCITED! So we did a miracle call and then we headed out to do the Blitz in our area!!!!! Okay so the blitzs are so fun! I felt like an event organizer, I made up  little cards for everyone with tthe people we wanted them to see, and gave them Luau invitations to hand out, so everyone had a nice little packet of people to see and things to do. It was great! We ended up having  a good night. I just saw one lady with Sister Goff. ( Oh so  I don't know if I explained what a blitz was, but it is where our district all gets together and we all go work in one area! And we all split up with members, so instead of just two people going to one place, we had like 20 people going to 10 different places! So we can cover  a lot of ground!! It was great!) Some of the elders forgot to return and report haha but we got the info and it was all good :). Then after we finished up we met up with the sisters to go on exchanges!
Wednesday: ahhhhh so we woke up this morning and it was SOOO SMOKEY! Oh ya I don't think I mentioned, but there is a HUMONGOUS fire going on right now! Like its seriously huge. Its called the King fire and it has burned like 100,000 acres! So ya, it was soooo smokey, so we didn't exercise outside cause we didn't want to be breathing all that smoke.  It was a good day, we just saw lots of people. We had the blitz in Camino, which was sad for the elders because, like 1/3 of the people in their area had been emergency evacuated, but we all still had people to see. I went and saw Rebecca, who is actually a girl we had taught but then had to pass off. So I went with the member from their ward named Sister Smith, and she was so awesome! Loved her! Hahaha apparently ever since then she has been telling the elders that she wishes there were sisters in their ward now. hahaha sorry elders ;). But ya it was a good time! It is fun seeing everyone elses areas!
Thursday: Good day! We had district meeting, it was all about how we can better use members while we do our missionary work. Watch out you guys! You might have to start doing missionary work ;). hahahaha jk. For the closing song the elders did a musical number, it was so cute! After dm we went and saw some people hahah we went to meet this LA i'd never met before and we pull up and him and his teenage son are outside, and hahahahah the son gets up and walks up to our car and opens the back door and hopped inside, hahahahah and then he looked at us and realized we obviously weren't the person he was expecting! hahahaha it was soooo funny. We were laughing pretty hard. The LA was nice though! So then we saw more people, and then went to our Blitz in Georgetown!! wooohooo! i finally got to see Georgetown. It was good! Except, ohhhh noooo I went to this one ladies house, and she had a dog and my allergies went INSANE! Remember that time where they were really bad when I was at home and we figured I was maybe allergic to that perfume? Well it was equal to that hahaha i looked like quazi motto again hahaahh. not cute. Oh well. Also before that we went and saw this 14 year old girl who the elders are trying to work with, and I was telling her about Jesus and God and I was saying how Jesus is our example and we're supposed to follow him and then I was going to say how he was baptized and kind of invite her to be baptized AND THE MEMBER CUT ME OFF!!!!!! I was like WHAT THE HECK!!!! Obviously someone doesn't understand what missionaries do. I was not impressed. lol. When we got home I was like dying cause of my allergies, but i got home and had a package from DARREN! hahahaahahah I was laughing so hard. It was a hilarious package. SHOUT OUT TO ELDER LACUSTA!
Friday: This was a good day, weekly planning, and we had lunch with a non member. We went to a sushi place, lol all Sister Boata wanted was rice and she somehow managed to order the only thing on the menu that doesn't come with rice hahahahah. I was cracknig up. Also we shared a scripture and the nm basically lold in our face and said she will never be mormon. LOL. Thanks a lot.  Then in the evening we had a great lesson with Mimi and we picked a date for her to be baptized!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! October 11!!!!!! WOOHOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! So we were very happy about that!
Saturday: THE DAY OF THE LUAU FINALLY CAMME!!!!! WOOOHOOO! So ya, first in the morning we saw some people, ohhhhhhh I was soooooo sad we had gotten this referral like 2 months ago and his name is Brian and he was soooo cool and seemed like he was interested but he was getting married and stuff so we had to wait till all of that was done. Well we went over and he said "I talked to my pastor friend and he told me all about the Book of Mormon and I've decided I'm not interested" So in my nice sister missionary way I ask what was the problem and he said " I don't like Mormons qualifications to get into heaven" So then I say.... we believe that  one must have faith in Jesus Christ, repent, be baptized, receive the holy ghost and endure to the end. And he looked surprised. Then he was like, well I don't like the whole 3 heaven thing, then I explained the spirit world, 3 degrees of glory thing. And then he said "Well I was reading the Book of Mormon and I don't like Mormons teachings" hahahhaahh well obviously he didn't read the book of mormon because ITS NOT MORMONS TEACHINGS. Geeee Wizzzz. So basically he asked his friend who is a pastor of NOT OUR CHURCH about our church. So I asked if he had any other questions, and then we were done. PEOPLE ARE SO SILLY!!! and it makes me so sad, people aren't even willing to give us a chance! They don't listen to what we have to say and just listen to what other people think we believe...... ughhhhh so sad. Brian was so cool. But i guess not. Oh well. ON A HAPPIER NOTE THE LUAU!!!!!! IT WAS SOOO GREAT! So we went up early to help set up, and it looked great, and then it started AND THE MEMBERS DID SO GOOD! I WAS SO PROUD! THE ACTUALLY BROUGHT THEIR FRIENDS!!!!! So we were at the front where people walked in and hahahaha we were giving everyone hawaiian names, so we would ask for their name and they were like ohh i'm probably not on the list, hahaha they thought they had to like check in, but noooo we just wanted to give them a hawaiian name. Sorry i don't know what my name was, they didn't have the name Sister. hahahah. So ya, then we decided to divide and conquer! It was great! We met lots of people, and one member brought 2 friends and they were both inteested in learning more!!!!!!!!! One even said he was coming to church the next day!!! WAHOOO! So it was great! There were hula dancers, and a fire dancer! It was awesome! And then it rained a little after!!!!! wow! What a great time!!!!!
Sunday: the guy who said he wanted to come to church ACTUALLY CAME TO CHURCH! his name is Abe! It was great! And it was the primary program and it was soooo cute! And Dan came to see his daughters! It was so great! THe rest of the day was just regular and it was great cause it was sunday and it is PDAY EVE!!! wahooooo!
today! So guess what, I guess I am old now, cause today I went to COLOMA! This is where the soon to be departing missionaries go. It is like 10 minutes outside of my area. hahah so it is more exciting for other people to go to, but it was A LOT of fun to see  everyone! We even got to go gold panning!! Woohooo! So hopefully I can send some pictures, sorry time always goes so fast I hardly ever have time! But it was GREAT! Life is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!
LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!
ps. THE CHURCH IS TRUEEEEEE!
